Born and raised here in the Valley, Paul grew up going to church and hearing the Gospel every week.· But it never really took root until the age of 17 when Christ radically changed his life.· Soon after graduating high school he headed to Bible college where he sensed the call of God on his life, earned his undergrad in Pastoral Theology and met his wife.· After earning his degree in 2001, the young family spent the next 8 years in eastern NC working as interns for a local church and helping with other church plants in the region.· After all these years of preparation, God graciously called Paul back home to serve as the lead Pastor of Aletheia church.· A position about which Paul is both humbled and excited!· He counts it a great honor to serve the community and college students in the Harrisonburg area.
Paul is blessed to be serving with his beautiful wife Kelly, of 13 years, and his two sons Timothy (10) and Parker (7).

Brandon grew up in Sangerville, Virginia and eventually ended up at Virginia Tech.· Near the end of graduate school, he realized that all the things he had been chasing after trying to find satisfaction were empty and meaningless.· He began to attend a campus ministry where he clearly heard the Gospel explained and saw it radically change people’s lives.· At age 24, through repentance and faith, Brandon accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.· After returning to the Harrisonburg area, he began attending Aletheia in April 2002.· God called him into leadership at the church, and he is very thankful to be a part of a ministry that focuses so much attention outward on reaching people who don’t know God.
Brandon is blessed to be serving with his wife Ann and his twin daughters Reece and Dillan.

After growing up in Winchester VA, George moved to Harrisonburg in 2001 to attend James Madison University to pursue a degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science).··· As it turned out, he was able to get two degrees from JMU - his undergraduate in 2003 and graduate degree in 2005.·· During grad school, he began working for the RMH Wellness Center and still work there today as a Fitness Manager.
In December 2004, as George was studying for his masters degree, the truth of the Good News of Jesus was revealed to him and he turned from a life of sin to a life lived for the glory of God.· The radical transformation that took place in his life was amazing and it was clearly only possible through the power of God.· God used not only His word to transform George’s life but also godly men, specifically leaders at Aletheia who invested much time and prayer into him.· It was not obvious at the time, but those men were not only teaching him how to live a life based on God’s Word but were also preparing him to answer God’s call to lead His church.· God also gave George a desire to help lead this local body and serve it in whatever ways God calls.· He has been blessed to be a leader for God’s glory and this ministry since 2005.
George married Jenny in 2006 and they were blessed to have a little dude, Zeke, in 2009.· Jenny is actively involved in leading a small group and administrating the women’s ministry at Aletheia.· She also does personal discipleship and biblical counseling.

Mark and Katie arrived in Harrisonburg in 2007 from Columbus, OH. Mark, a native of Medina, OH, accepted Christ as a child and holds degrees in literature and education. He has discerned God’s call to serve through his interest in apologetics, particularly the work of Ravi Zacharias and C.S. Lewis, which has fascinated him for many years. In particular, he desires to encourage and assist others to understand the reasonableness of a biblical worldview and adopt a high respect for the authority of the Bible.

Cameron has been at Aletheia since September of 2007 when he arrived at JMU to begin college.· Shortly after settling in at JMU, he began leading worship for the Wednesday night service and did that until March of 2009 when he was given the opportunity to go on staff and head up the music ministry at Aletheia.· It was clear that God had been preparing him over the years for his role at Aletheia, not only in the realm of music but also in leadership.· Cameron was asked to join the leadership team in 2009 as he began overseeing the music ministry as well as leading a small group and playing a large role in the church’s creative team.· But he would be the first person to tell you that it hasn’t been easy.
As a young man (and the only single leader, which Paul loves to remind him about), the process of learning how to lead has been happening constantly.· The past few years have been the hardest, but most beneficial years of Cameron’s life as he has been pushed to new limits in leadership.· Through the mistakes, through the hard conversations and through all the learning he has been able to see not only God’s grace and forgiveness abound, but also God’s will for his life and the lives of those involved in ministry with him begin to take shape.· Cameron counts it as a blessing everyday to be involved in a ministry that he is so passionate about and can’t wait to see what the Lord is going to do next at Aletheia.
Cameron and the band at Aletheia released their newest album in January of 2011.· “This Is My Story, This Is My Song” is available online at www.digstation.com and www.cdbaby.com.· Physical copies of the album can be purchased on Sunday mornings at Aletheia Church.· The band’s 2009 release, “My Cry To You,” is available online for free download at www.noisetrade.com/aletheia
Every once in a while he will remember that he has a blog and will update it atwww.camerongwaltney.comFor more information about the band, check out www.aletheiamusic.com

Matt's life has taken some very unexpected turns.· Raised in the independent Baptist movement, Matt graduated from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, in 1998 with a degree in Classical Latin and Greek.· He then studied law at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, graduating in 2001, and joined the Harrisonburg firm of Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver, where he practiced law full time for nine years.· But none of it was ever really fulfilling as seeing the lives of students, and others, transformed through the power of the Gospel.· After several years at the firm, he began to sense that God was calling him to something more-- away from the legal world, and towards vocational ministry.

Matt joined Aletheia's staff in June 2010.·· His ministry at Aletheia is multifaceted.· He oversees the guys' small groups, which are a critical part of the process of "making disciples" (Matt 28:19).· In addition, he spends a lot of time on individual discipleship, focusing on the development and training of future church planters for the Aletheia Network.· Finally, he supervises Aletheia's administrative staff.· You're likely to find him hanging out on campus-- at TDU, Carrier, Einstein's, or, occasionally, UREC.
Matt lives in Old Town, near North Campus, with his wife Laura, a former Campus Crusade staff member in Lithuania, and his infant daughter Emma Grace. ·Laura is active in Aletheia's womens' ministries, leading a small group and doing some individual discipleship.
